Our firm brings the successful experience and skills of its consultant and founder, Jim Fram who is a planner, thought leader, teacher, mentor, and professional economic developer/chamber executive who is both a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) as well as a Certified Chamber Executive (CCE). Jim is experienced in working with large and small communities as well as with site location consultants during his years of bringing thousands of new jobs and millions in new capital investment to the communities he served in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
Jim has successfully completed job-creating, capital-intensive projects ranging in scope and size from a 900,000-square foot Wal-Mart Automated Distribution Center to NE Oklahoma to the recruitment of a grocery store to a small Oklahoma town. He has successfully participated in and/or completed projects with ABB, Wal-Mart, Verizon, Hertz, AT&T, Tractor Supply Co., Baker-Hughes, Borets-Weatherford, AT&T, Dollar-Thrifty, American Airlines, Nordam, McKesson, Pace Industries, Spirit Aerosystems, IC Bus, Novartis, L3, Sallie Mae, Nelnet, EDS, Cabela’s, Siemens, Rheem, Pfizer, Verizon, and ConocoPhillips just to name a few.
Jim is a past Chair of the Oklahoma Governor’s Economic Development Team (2007), an Oklahoma Economic Developer of the Year (2001), the Outstanding Chamber Executive in Arkansas (2017), and has served in senior management roles during his time in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Nebraska. He has served on the state economic development and Chamber of Commerce association’s Boards of Directors in Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Arkansas during his career. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) as well as the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). He has served as a faculty member for the Heartland Basic Economic Development Course as well as the Mid-South Basic Economic Development Course. He also was appointed to the IEDC Education and Certification Committee, serving a couple of terms as its Chair. He is currently serving as an active member and has served as the Chair of the IEDC Accredited Economic Development Organization Committee (AEDO).
While our firm is deep in skill and experience, we also have connections and relationships with the larger specialty firms and consultants we can retain when and if necessary to fulfill the requirements of the task at hand. Jim has worked with nearly all the larger strategic planning firms from the organizational side and maintains relationships with a large database of site location consultants and corporate real estate executives as well.
